John Lee Hancock Employs The Partner

He'll direct the Grisham thrillerJohn Lee Hancock continues to be going for a while to setup the film he makes use of to follow-up The Blind Side. He's already dancing around the thought of making crime dramaHighwaymen, but he's added John Grisham adaptation The Partner to his listing of possible new films.New Regency is backing the project, which isn't a surprise because the company's mind Arnon Milchan includes a Grisham file the size of his arm. He created the kind of A Period To Kill, The Customer and Runaway Jury, so that you can understand why Grisham may be happy handing among his printed babies to him.The Partner, which first hit book shelves in 2005, follows youthful lawyer (surprise!) Patrick Lanigan, that has made partner inside a Biloxi lawyer. Though he's apparently first got it made with a decent job, an attractive wife along with a newborn daughter, he's disillusioned together with his legal calling and knockoffs their own dying inside a burning vehicle so he is able to steal $90 million from his bosses. There's only one catch: he needs to hope nobody discovers and tracks him lower. Best of luck, mate...Hancock will write and direct the film, although it may need to take second spot to Highwaymen (which finds two veteran cops drawn from retirement to search lower Bonnie and Clyde), based on which film strikes his fancy first.
