Is it too late for me to start playing acoustic guitar? If not, Help me please?

Im 13 and I thought to play an instrument you start from an early age
:( I want to play acoustic guitar, and for my 14th birthday I want a
guitar kit. Is it too late? If not, what do I need to start? A guitar
tuner, A guitar (DUH) and what else? .. There's a kit I'm considering
buying, but i'm not sure if it covers everything and I don't know were
to buy a guitar pick as the kit I want doesn't have a guitar pick
