The Greenskeeper confronts Rudy about life and his dreams:
Rudy: Not anymore I quit.
GK: Since when are you the quiting kind.
Rudy: I dont know, i just dont see the point anymore
GK: So you didn't make the dress list. there are greater tragidies in
the word.
Rudy: I wanted to run out of that tunnel.. for my dad.. to prove to
everyone...
GK: PROVE WHAT
Rudy: That i was someone...
GK: Oh your so full of crap.... Your 5ft nothing.... 100 and nothing..
and you got hardly a speck of athletic ability... and you hung in with
the best college football team in the land for two years... and your
also gonna walk out of here with a degree from the university of notre
dame.. In this lifetime you dont have to prove nothing to nobody
except yourself.... and after what you've gone throuhg... if you
havent done that by now... it aint never gonna happen.
